Vacationing Single in Grand Cayman

Hello friends,

I have a trip planned to Grand Cayman and I will be traveling alone. Any tips for those of you that have done a singles trip to GC? For everyone else, any must do's that you would suggest for me?

Thank you all,
Vabb

Grand Cayman is a great place to go solo if your goal is to chill and get some great beach time. The vibe is pretty family friendly, so you will be fine. There are a lot of people there on business, so dinner alone on 7MB is not an issue... hit the supermarket if you want drinks/snacks for the room.. have a great time!

Agree. Super safe. 7 mile beach is wonderful. There is walk in snorkeling by the Governors house area of 7 mile beach. Very nice turtle sanctuary which we enjoyed. Botanical gardens which I thought were lovely. Some of the best dining in the Caribbean is on 7-mile beach.

Grand Cayman is really easy for a solo traveller. There are some great dining options in town and close to town, in the Seven Mile Beach area and in Camana Bay. You'll find shopping, movies and dining at Camana Bay. Go in the afternoon and stay until evening for the wonderful ambiance.

For a seriously excellent vegan breakfast or lunch go to Bread and Chocolate in Georgetown, close by the Scotiabank.

Be sure to head up to Rum Point and go check out Pedro St. James Castle for some interesting history. There is also a very interesting Museum in Georgetown that's worth a visit. The Botanical Gardens is kind of cool as well as you'll get a close up view of the blue iguanas there and the country's indigenous parrot.

If you have a car just do driving. You'll stumble upon pretty much everything including the statue garden, Bodden Town, the turtle sanctuary, the car museum, the blow holes, Hell.

And of course there's always the beach
