Vacation Selection - Newlyweds

Hey guys! First time poster here. Long story short, I just want to get any advise on a destination from people that are more traveled than I. We will be going on vacation from Feb 3, 2014 through the 10th as Newlyweds. We really enjoy just sitting on the beach, with a drink in hand, watching the waves. I have included my criteria below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Super clear water and white sands
Reasonably private beach if not totally private
All inclusive if the food is good.
Friendly locals
Pretty nice room w/ocean view, kitchen not necessary
Sight seeing an option
Snorkeling
Great sunset
Doesn't have to be 5 Star, but very clean w/ good service

Thanks again!

Do you have a budget for your trip?
You say you are going on vacation as newlyweds. Will this be considered your honeymoon?

Riviera Maya and Punta Cana may be two locations to look into for private beaches and white sands. Excellence Resorts has locations in both places. Majestic Resorts are in Punta Cana. They are all inclusive and have great reviews.

You may also consider any of the Sandals Resorts (Jamaica, Antigua, Bahamas, St. Lucia) . They are opening a new one in Grenada.

Once you decide the location that you like the best, then you can compare resorts and look for any promotions that they are running. (Always nice when you can get any type of deal!)

Good luck!

Private beach, so you know, no beach in Caribbean is private by law. There are streches that seem isolated and technically uninhabited, but sooner or later someone else comes by (even those reached only by boat)

For most of criteria

Turks and Caicos, best beaches in the world, some of the best restaurants in Caribbean, gorgeous resorts.

There is some sight seeing, such as day trips to outer islands, but mostly about the beaches.

1 all inclusive, has good food, but I don't recommend for your other criteria, Beaches new Key West village

For honeymoon I highly recommend:

Point Grace
Somerset
West Bay Club, a Grace Bay Club resort

Not counting the flight, the budget is somewhere between $4,000-$6,000

no bahamas - too cold in feb
neither dom rep or jamaica is known for snorkeling.
t & c - has good snorkeling. grace bay beach faces nnw so has nice sunsets. sand is super white & oh so soft. very clear water.
grand cayman is worth looking at. gin clear water, with great off beach snorkeling. seven mile beach has the white sand & faces west
cayman & provo both have loads of dining options from pizza to fine dining.
bvi's are nice. clear water, good boat snorkeling. a lot of beaches face east. st john, usvi has great snorkeling but most people rent hillside villas & do a bit of cooking which i don't think you want.

Anguilla known for amazing beaches, very good restaurants. Check out Cap Juluca. Won't meet snorkelling requirement.
BVI/Virgin Gorda. Beautiful quaint island..a bit difficult to get to. Couple nice resorts are Little Dix bay or Biras Creek. Anguilla beaches have whiter sand than VG but VG is not bad and is a more scenic island. Locals are extremely friendly on both islands.
