Vacation Rentals in T&C
Looking for suggestions on vacation "condo" style rental properties in Provo. Our family of 5 are looking to stay on Grace Bay and prefer accomadations directly on a beautiful beach. Amazing pool areas right off beach are also a must because... with 3 kids we end up going back and forth b/w pool, beach, pool, beach, pool, etc......so this explains the necessity of the pool being beachfront and amazing since we will be living there
I see that some hotel properties are villa style...any sugg. of specific hotels, or rental agencies w/ pristine "newer" accomadations would be much appreciated!!!
***for those who have been an know Grand Cayman well..we have stayed at The Meridian on 7 mile beach...this is a very good example of what we are seeking***

Almost all resort properties on Provo are condo-style and front Grace Bay Beach, so you have many many choices. It would be more helpful if you gave a sense of your budget. You could also rent a villa, but most of those are not directly on Grace Bay.

Just got back and stayed in a 3bdrm at the Regent Grand. It was awesome. If you want a 3 bedroom, let me know and I will give you the VRBO #. (That is how we rented, otherwise it would have been too pricey for us)

I've always used Tranqulity Vacations (http://www.tranquilityvacationstci.com ) for my rentals.. they've always been a pleasure to work with, and their properties are simply gorgeous.

With the kids, yet upscale: I highly recommend either The Regent Palms or The Somerset. Both are full service, have excellent pools fronting the beach. Both have full kitchens and living areas, and large gorgeous bathrooms. Both will have other kids to meet and hang out with, hobbie cats and kayaks, and beach toys such as noodles and pails. They are right next to each other, so both are on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Both have beach bar/restaurants, and the best part: both offer pool and beach service for food and drinks!
A 15-20 minute walk from both also has great off-the beach snorkeling too.
Regent Palms has a Four Seasons/Ritz feel to it, and is popular with families with kids. It also has an incredible spa, that's so beautiful it has graced countless magazine covers. It has a swim up bar in the pool, and tables and chairs built into the pool-they also have beach "pods", round beds surrounding the pool.
Somerset is a little more laid back, yet ultra luxurious. It has underwater speakers at the pool, Clam Bakes on Tuesdays at sunset on the beach, movies outside on the lawn on Wednesday nights, and Happy Hours with tapas and live music on the garden patio. For me, it has the best architecture on the island.
Another option, but far to walk to snorkel, would be Grace Bay Club Villas. Not really "villas" in the sense of the word, they are luxurious condos. All are oceanfront views, and have a swim up bar at the pool. It too has a Four Seasons type atmosphere.
