Using miles for Aruba or Paradise Island. Advice please!

We are in our 50's and will be looking for crystal clear water, nice beaches and relaxation this February. We just want to chill and enjoy the beach and water. Our only choices are the above because we are using miles. Trying to decide between these two spots. Any recs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

I'd be afraid that Paradise Island would be cold in February. The Bahamas aren't very far south.

At that time of year, I'd go to Aruba.

agree aruba is your better choice.

We hadn't thought about the temperature. Thanks so much. That is why we ask the questions here!

We have heard the Aruba beaches are nice but the water won't be crystal clear right off the beach , is that true?

The water is not crystal clear like in Turks and Caicos or Grand Cayman, but it is still very nice. We loved Aruba way more than Nassau. Tons of things to see and do and excellant dining options.

Here's a pic of the beach area in front of th Holiday Inn on Palm Beach.

Thanks so much. We have decided on Aruba. Now...Palm or Eagle Beach?

Palm Beach has high rise hotels lined up beach side and directly across the street are literaly tons of bars, restaurants, shopping and entertainment within walking distance. The beach front also has bars and restaurants. It can get a little crowded depending on the time of year. The Radission and Hyatt get good reviews.

Eagle Beach is more spread out and quieter with low rise hotels. Not as many facilities around and the beach is wider. Most all the hotels have a bus stop so easiy and convenient to get back to Palm Beach or downtown. It depends on what you are looking for. In the middle of everything Palm Beach or on the quieter side Eagle Beach.

Great advice above. We prefer The Radisson to The Hyatt ( have stayed at both) because of pricing and its beachfront which is much less crowded even in season. We like being able to walk to a lot of restaurants, etc., so have only stayed on Palm Beach. Really depends whether you would mind taking the bus/taxi everywhere or would like to be within walking distance of restaurants etc.

We stayed at the Radisson a couple of years ago. It was a very positive experience. It was nice have the restaurants, shops, and excursion docks within an easy walk.
