Oh, i have another thought...i'm sorry, i'm procrastinating doing my housework today...Check out Virgin Gorda as well..i hear it is absolutely beautiful...i imagine, the farther the islands, the less likely you'll find a lot of children...trust me, folks don't like to travel long distances with kids..so, if it requires changing planes etc..you might be less likely to run into a bunch of kids....<BR><BR>:)

I agree with basilwat...The BVI are lovely and not many kids there.<BR><BR>Biras Creek Resort (www.biras.com) is great on Virgin Gorda.<BR><BR>Also, private island resorts such as Peter Island and Guana Island in the BVI are terrific, secluded, and casually elegant (I hate that phrase, but it really does describe these two places.)<BR><BR>There's also Petit St. VIncent resort in the Grenadines, which is also a private island resort. Half a dozen beaches around the island and nifty stone cottages scattered around. <BR><BR>Also, Caneel Bay on St. John and either Point Grace or Grace Bay Club on Provo in Turks &amp; CAicos.<BR><BR>Let us know what you decide!

As I tend to be an obsessive-compulsive trip planner, it will probably take a while for me to decide. <BR><BR>You'd think people would keep their kids home when travelling to higher end places, but they bring them along and stick them with a nanny. Me, I bring my kids to Disneyworld or Cape Cod on vacation, and drop them with their grandparents when I'm travelling to someplace NICE. My kids wouldn't appreciate fancy food unless they could cover it with ketchup, and then I couldn't enjoy my food having to look at all of that ketchup.

You might like the Gaugain inspired tahitan style Galley Bay in Antigua--has an exotic freeform pool and a great beach.

Whenever I read a request for a vacation with &quot;no kids,&quot; I immediately think of Ladera in St. Lucia. Unfortunately, for your scenario - no beach. It's in the mountains. But it's also built on ledge and none of the rooms have their fourth wall, it's open to the view. You'd have to be crazy to bring kids there! Their website even says something like &quot;not a place to bring your kids but to conceive them&quot; (paraphrased). I can't recommend it from personal experience, however. At least not yet!<BR>If you go when it's warm enough, Cambridge Beaches in Bermuda would fit your bill. And of course, Cap Jaluca on Anguilla.
