Are you off to St Lucia?I hope you have a great time.I've been there but didnt care for Castries.Maybe cuz it is not typical Carib style.Its very very old.And quaint.The landscape is truly awesome.And its always good to "get away".Oops...another ToGo Order...back to the grill.......Safe Trip!!

No, unfortunately something came up tomorrow, so I have to be here, and AA does not have any award seats available till Tuesday with Sunday return, so it does not look good at this moment. I already lost my flight today, oh well...
Thanks to everybody for any help and suggestions on the other post. Hopefully I will use the info in the near future.

Hello, all. Yes, it appears over-booking is done all the time. Unfortunately, people who paid for economy seats are most oft hurt in the process. It appears that federal regulation may be someday applied to this industry policy and procedure (ugh! The thought of it). However, it appears federal regulations will once again have to supercede industrial policies and procedures which are very "people unfriendly," and quite frankly, legally questionable. Robert
