Turks & Caicos - Places to stay????

Never been to the Turks & Caicos and want to find a beachfront villa with 1 bedroom. Don't want the best but maybe better than middle of the road.

Thanks

My husband and I just got back from Turks and Caicos.

We stayed in a one bedroom luxury suite (gorgeous) at West Bay Club. We absolutely loved it there. Far end of Grace Bay Beach on the widest strip of beach. The staff is wonderful there.

We are already planning to go back next year!

these are all 1 bedroom villas - coriander, nutmeg, ballyhoo & callaloo from this site: http://www.tcvillas.com/vacation_villa_rentals.shtml
they are all near (15 mins walking distance) turtle cove marina with 6 restaurants, dive company, car rental & a couple shops. directly by best off beach snorkeling on provo. you will need a car. the main resort/restaurant & 1 grocery area is approx 15 mins drive. main grocery store 20-25mins.

Just returned from T&Cs - be prepared to spend lots of cash! Lunch cost 2 of us $58.00 before tip at the Seaside Cafe. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner as soon as you arrive - all restaurants are solely seated by reservations only. Our first night there, we couldn't get in anywhere, as everything was booked. Last dinners are scheduled around 9PM. Most restaurants shut down by 10. Beaches/water are absolutely gorgeous. Next time we go back, we'll go AI on this island.

Check out the listings on VRBO.com and HomeAway.com. They offer better priced units directly from the owners and great places like Villa Renaissance and Windsong.

While I liked West Bay Club (but only their one bedroom units, hated the studio), I felt their prices were out of line...and they're considered a moderate brand of luxury.
