Turks and Caicos Reservations really helpful

Just wanted to tell you all that if you are planning a trip to Turks and Caicos- I would call Val and the gang at Turks and Caicos reservations. Not only do they know all the hotels and resorts but they get you a great deal and throw in some percs. I had a problem with the room when we checked in and Val was the fist person to call me and see if all was OK. They go way beyond the call of duty... and no I don't work for them I Live in CT and needed some help deciding a new place to stay in Provo. Thy got me a great deal and got me a great price...Bravo Val and the team at Turks and Caicos reservations.. here is there their info

Thanks, Gigi.

I read about them earlier, and just posted a report. They were also very helpful to us, and we've become major Turks "groupies." lol

Also had a very good experience booking with T&C Reservations, and of course the free perks are great.

Priced everything out on Expedia and Orbitz, then came here to confirm hotel information and read that everyone would refer www.turksandcaicosreservations.tc . They beat the Expedia and Orbitz prices by about 10-15% and it was a pleasure to work with Val who took our reservation. Highly recommend these guys and looking forward to our trip next month! I will post on the experience once we return.

jagangjee, thats great!

If you don't mind me asking, where did you decide to stay? We're starting to plan our next vacation to Turks for later this summer, and trying to zero in on the best choices that don't blow our budget.

I would recommend TC Reservations. They were helpful every step of the way. We wanted to book early but were leary about prices getting lower as it got closer to vacation time. They promised if a better offer came along before the vacation they would extend it to me and adjust the price. Of course that happened...my room rate went to 25% off and I had 15% off when I booked. They immediately researched the new offer I told them of and contacted the Resort. The resort agreed to adjust the rate and I got the better deal. They were also very proactive about giving us our rewards. They made sure we used/redeemed them. All of the people were responsive and helpful, much more so than the people at the resort themselves.

On another note, I would highly recommend the Alexandra Resort. It is a great value without sacrificing much. Some of our family stayed in Oceanfront and we stayed in Oceanview. I loved the Oceanview. I had much more to look at from my balcony than just the ocean and still had an amazing view of the ocean, not just a peek at it. The best part of the resort is the amazing large balconies. The rooms were all high end and clean and new. They are an up and comer and are improving every day with more amenities. Everything is in good walking distance, which we liked because the taxis add up. If you do need a taxi, you should pay $5 per person each way to most areas within Grace Bay from there. Walking on the beach to dinners from their was very easy.

An A+++ for TC Resevations and the Alexandra!!

That's good to know. The Alexandra is one of the hotels we're looking at.

How far is snorkeling from there? We walked as far as the Alexandra, but didn't see the Coral Gardens snorkeling location.

tarpontony75 - we decided to also stay at the Alexandra Resort based on location, price and reviews.

AlyCat40 - can you let us know how far the grocery store is from the Alexandra and do we need/should rent a car?

I spoke to Turks and Caicos Reservations this afternoon, and now I'm also considering Le Vele Resort. They have great prices, and I remember the front beach location being perfect.

Since I finally scheduled my week off from work in August, it's time to start seriously planning our Turks return.
