Turks and Caicos Question?
 

I am thinking of going to Turks and Caicos and am looking at a few different hotels. Has anyone stayed at the Royal West Indies Resort recently? I was wondering how the construction is going, and what the resort was like. How about the Sand at Grace Bay?<BR>Thank you,<BR>Alli

Have not stayed at either but stayed next door to The Sands (at Point Grace) and would recommend The Sands. Nice winding river pool, great casual restaurant right on the beach, gorgeous beach and a good value. We said that if we came back with our kids we would stay at The Sands.

We stayed at the Sands this Augus 01 and love it!! The grounds are beautiful and the staff very helpful! The beach is AWESOME!!!! The best we have been too yet in the Carribean! Not sure where to next summer to beat T&C.<BR><BR>Miriam

Miriam-<BR>Since The Sands is not an all-inclusive, did you find it very expensive to eat out?

we stayed at the Sands this past Aug. and brought food to eat in as we had a kitchen in the 1 bedroom. But we did it out for most dinners and did'nt find it very expensive.
