Turks & Caicos - Northwest Point Resort
 

I won an auction for 5 nights at Alexandra Resort, T&C. Now I am looking for a place to stay for 3 more nights, and saw a great deal the Northwest Point Resort - 40 percent off plus free car rental. Has anyone stayed here? It's not on Grace Bay but another part of the island.

It's in the boonies! Long drive to any restaurant. You'd really want to be in an isolated place. My suggestion is to stick to somewhere on Grace Bay. I'll let others who may have visited NWP recently chime in.

I agree with mymoosie. Stick to Grace Bay.

After I posted, I found some posts about NW Point Resort here. Aside from being isolated, it sounds like the beach isn't the best, so will try to find something else on Grace Bay. Thanks.

T&C will hopefully be in Feb for my husband;s 65th birthday. (Was planning to go to Abaco then but that fell through). Waiting to hear from skyauction as to whether they can confirm the Alexandra. Harbour Island (Valentines Resort) is confirmed for May.

Now have to figure out how to fit in Grenada. We haven't been to the Caribbean or Bahamas for four years and we are now making up for lost time.

Stay on Grace Bay for sure, NW Point is like a ghost town out there...1/2 hour to any restaurant, long bumpy road...ugh, never!!
