turks and caicos nightlife...

Is there much to do at night on turks and caicos? I was thinking of going for a honeymoon but i dont want to be bored.

I can't comment on Turks & Caicos, becuase my husband and I went to Aruba. But I can tell you that the privacy of walking alone on the beach is extremely romantic. I'm sure they have a few bars, etc. Check out Turks & Caicos website. I am pretty sure they have sunset cruises, etc.

Have fun and congrats

What's wrong with this post...going on a honeymoon and afraid of being bored if there isn't a lot to do at night. Wow! Talk about lack of imagination.

please don't reply if you don't have anything helpful to say. Keep your nasty comments to yourself. Nobodya wants to hear them.

We went to the Turks and Caicos a few years ago for a week and had a very nice time but it was quiet. I must say that the water was exquisite--beaches were beautiful--model photoshoot while we were there in front of the Ocean Club where we stayed. We rented a car so we could get around and we were very glad we did--very small island. There's a few places to shop and one of the best golf courses in the Caribbean. Some nights we went out for a late dinner and then afterwards stopped by a bar for drinks. Also there was an A-I Allegro resort that had entertainment but we didn't stay there so I don't know if the public is invited to this property. There was a good mexican restaurant in town where a lively crowd gathered at happy hour. The Sharkbite Restaurant in the area was a fun place with darts and excellent seafood. The Banana Boat was good for drinks before dinner. Plenty of places to dine including expensive restaurants but not a lot of nightlife when we were there. At the very small hotel-Turtle Cove Inn I believe (?)-there was a crowd of friendly boating people at the outside bar which was in a tiki hut--so we had a few laughs talking to them--what I'm trying to say is that you can make your own fun!!

Christine, that wasn't a "nasty", you haven't SEEN nasty, it was merely an observation. Chill out.

The Allegro has a casino. Ive stayed at the club med and walked the beach to the Allegro. Your typical small island casino.

Christine,
just got back from Turks and Caicos,(our 25th wedding anniv. trip) most beautiful place with lots, lots of beaches to share with just your new hubby, and no one else, stretches and stretches of sand for enjoyment. Howard has given you a great run down on activity on island, the casino at Allegro, nothing spectacular but a little something different to do while out and about. It is a great place for young and not so young lovers with just enough activities to do at night besides enjoy the specialness of each other. Go and have a great time, I have recommended it to my neice and nephew who are both getting married this fall and next spring, and you cant go wrong. If you do go, staying at Coral Gardens which is right in front of the great coral to snorkel at is your best bet. People staying at the other resorts have to either walk down the beach and for some a pretty good distance or take a taxi/car down to the coral and staying at Coral Gardens allows you to snorkel several times a day. It was heaven.
