Turks and Caicos Hotel Recommendation

Hello Fodorites. Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in Turks on the nicest strip of beach (Grace Bay?) and is not all inclusive? Would also love a nice pool and, if it exists, a hotel where we don't have to hassle to find decent beach chairs in the morning without getting up at the crack of dawn. I know this is usually a challenge. More of a fan of boutique type hotels but open to others if the above criteria is met. As far as budget goes, from what I can tell I think I would likely have a hard time finding much under about $900 or so a night on the nice part of the beach so I guess I would start there. This is for my husband and my self, both in our late 60s. Prefer not too many kids as well but also not a dealbreaker. And a swim up bar would be a plus!

Thanks very much.

You don't say when you plan on traveling and, as you probably know, room rates can vary significantly depending on the time of year you visit. For Caribbean destinations (Turks & Caicos included) the winter months have the highest rates while summer rates are usually the lowest. Should seasons (late Spring and Autumn have rates in between those.

You might want to check out the following (all on Grace Bay) which may be in your price range: The Shore Club, Grace Bay Club, The Sands At Grace Bay, Somerset at Grace Bay, The Tuscany and if you don't mind a fairly large resort, The Ritz-Carlton.
