Been to Round Hill lately?

Wondering if anyone has seen the new pool at Round Hill (we like a decent size pool and note that it is an infinity pool which can mean it is small--we stayed at the Reefs in Bermuda and their infinity pool barely holds 5 people comfortably); for those who remember, I asked all these questions last year about the pool, but it is now renovated. I have asked the hotel twice in e-mails and they answer all my other questions, but not the pool question and I'm trying not be suspicious of that
(and they don't answer the phone!), but I thought someone here may have seen it.

Any insights/opinions on Round Hill are appreciated.

Many thanks,

Mary in D.C.

Im going to answer my own question, it is 50 feet long, 16 feet wide and the deep end is 7 feet.

I know sometimes people look at questions after there are a couple of replies, so any other opinions on Round Hill are more than welcome.

Thanks!

Conde Nast traveler listed it as a "favorite hideaway" in its recent article on all-inclusives. It was the only resort in Jamaica that made that list, several made the top 100 resorts.

Marbleheadguy, You definitely should not venture out very far at all.

JAGirl--thanks for the article; Round Hill was too difficult to deal with (I could never get any good answers on room configurations or any guarantees about where my daughter would sleep--is there a sofabed or not??) so I moved on and we are going to Turks and Caicos.

We went to Jamaica before and loved it, but I just heard a news report that they are increasing police presence in Montego Bay to quell a growing crime rate. For everyone's sake, I hope they get a handle on that. Don't mean to start a whole thing on crime in Jamaica, I live in Washington, so I know how things get blown out of proportion, but I'm sure it behooves travelers to be careful.

Thanks again,

Mary
