Turks and Caicos

Good morning all! I've been to several islands in the Caribbean but not Turks and Caicos. My wife is really interested in an all-inclusive there. We're 50 and really want a relaxing resort with a great pool, on the beach but we need some things to do at night. We're looking to spend $5,500 as a couple. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.

For All inclusives in the T&C your choices are fairly limited - Beaches (a very family oriented resort), Club Med and the very high end Amanyara (which will be out of your price range...

You'll be much better off going non-AI as you'll have a lot more options to choose from.

Amanyara is not AI (sorry to correct)

TCI is not a typical AI type island, and all about the beach. Fairly quiet and most nightlife (dinner) even ends around 10.

It’s also a very expensive island, and you budget is too low (even depending what time of year, you budget in peak season wouldn’t even come close)

the only thing that that comes slightly close is Club Med. if you’ve never been to Club Med, it’s an atmosphere. Average age is 30-50s, adult only. Only a couple of restaurants with certain times to eat. (For example you pick a time slot for dinner)

all activities included even even snorkel boat trips

they have a show (raunchy) at nights, water exercise, and mingling is encouraged (for example most dinner tables are shared in groups) then disco after

just recently renovated after after the hurricanes, some rooms now have balconies, and the new pool is very snazzy.

Club Med will probably closer to $6000 for 2 without air. Other few AI properties (still not typical to what you expect) will cost more

But it you can’t expect a typical AI feel at TCI, if you want a true one stick to Mexico, DR, etc

what you get in TCI is the worlds best beach, water activities, no vendors bugging you, but quiet with other than water sports not much nightlife or shopping.

Thank you both for your feedback. Much appreciated.
