Tucker's Point Bermuda??
We have been to bermuda several times and have stayed at the Elbow beach and teh fairmont southampton. We recently booked the FS for end of August this year and took advantage of a huge sale FS was havign and got a great deal on a room. However, my DH just saw an advert for bermuda where if you book now you can get a 400 credit. Out of curiousity i started checking out some other hotels and came upon Tucker's Point.
It looks amazing. It looks 5 star. can anyone tell me about it? is it in the same category as EB or FS? where is it located- how far from the other hotels or from hamilton? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It is brand new, open just at a month. As far as I know, no reviews have been done of it for TA, but there is a poster going soon, so look for his report. It is in the old Castle Harbor location at Mid Ocean golf course overlooking Tucker Town. The website photos are gorgeous. If you go, please post a review. Curious minds will want to know!

thanks cmcfong. what's the location like - far to other restaurants? is it right on the beach? It does look amazing. I checked out the prices and it's definitely pricey, but since everyone is advertising specials right now, I wonder...

emcash, it is not on the beach, but rather up the hill overlooking the beaches. If you picture yourself coming out of the airport and looking to your right, it would be up that hill range more or less. It would be closest to restaurants in Flatts or St. George. The Swizzle Inn would be just down the hill and a mile or so on. As to rates or specials, call don't email or use the website. It is amazing what you can get by talking to them.

The big issue is getting someone who is on site. It has been my experience they will work with you more than a general service. I think Tucker's Point toll free number connects to their front desk.
good luck!

Hi cmcfong - how do you do this? front desk insists that i talk to reservations, and they insist that their rates start at $450 -no promotional rate available, even though the resort is empty. not sure how to proceed...what do you usually say to the front desk to get a good rate? thanks!

Ah, Caramia, I do not know if Tucker's Point is doing a promotion. emcash said she wondered if they were since there are so many being offered and I suggested that she call to find out. If I see anything about a promotion for Tucker's Point, I will post it.
