Thank you for your time.

I've noticed you tagged your choice with Turks and Caicos. This is a nice choice for families with kids for following reasons:
Nice big planes to Provo (PLS), with connections from either Miami, Atlanta, or Charlotte (or direct from NY and sometimes Boston.)
Super kid friendly GORGEOUS beach. Miles of clear clean sand, bright white, with neon turquoise water. Great snorkeling sights of the beach in areas, so super place to get kids involved in snorkeling. Starts in waist high water with fish already, and tons of turtles. They'll be giddy.
There are banana boats, hobie cats and kayaks. You can also go on many water excursions.
Day excursions to secluded cays include sailing, snorkeling on the 3rd largest reef in the world, diving for conch in waist high water, snorkeling for sand dollars, checking out iguanas at Iguana Island, and exploring the different stunning beaches. If you're wanting more adventure, water taxis to North and Middle Caicos for exploring caves that pirates you to hang out in. On the main island Provo, there's even an excursion that takes you to a pirates cave, then you climb up and see stone carvings reputed to be "treasure maps".
Kids will meet other kids and make fast friends.
Most resorts have leftover beach toys, from noodles to pails.
Restaurants are great--only St. Barth, Anguilla and St. Martin beat them. Gorgeous settings, kids menu. Some nights the different restaurants have live music, so kids can dance while you dine.
One of the driest islands in the region, so chances of sun are great. If one side of island is wavy, you can always travel to the other side for calm waters. You can also rent a high clearance vehicle and explore Malcolm's Beach, 1/2 the fun is getting there.
The resorts in Provo are very nice--in every price point, there is no bad place to stay, just how much luxury you want.
I have also been to several countries countries in Asia, this is a completely different experience.

provo! grand turk is an extra flight by small plane from provo, and has few restaurants or resorts. provo has plenty of resorts & wonderful restaurants.
most of the resorts are directly on grace bay beach and have condo style units which should work well for your family. the sands or royal west indies are nice. regent grand & somerset are nicer. many other options.
if you think you'll like provo, type - provo trip reports - in the search forums box at the top of this page to read what ppl who've been recently had to say. some have photos.
