Trip to Puerto Rico

My best friend and I are looking to travel to PR in late June or early July. We are looking to stay Wed or Thur through Sunday. We are both 30 somethings(guys) both very single and looking for a fun place with good nightlife and perhaps a bevy of single ladies!!! Oh yeah, the beach is a must! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If I were you I'd consider staying in the Isla Verde section of San Juan. Depending on your budget you can get a hotel/resort on or near the beach and have access to plenty of watersports, restaurants, casinos, discos, night clubs and other nightlife that are popular with the singles crowd and you are a short cab ride from "Old San Juan". Several of the hotels in the area have "on property" casinos. For starters check out the El San Juan Hotel - its one of the "hapening spots" in San Juan - has everything you are seeking.

Take a look at the Renaissance in Condado and El San Juan Hotel in Isla Verde. Should be decent rates at that time of the year.

Thank you for the suggestions. We booked at the Ritz for the 17th-20th. Seems like its close to everything we are looking for...couldn't beat the price for a pretty decent hotel..Lol...

I've stayed there several times. Very nice hotel. I still would suggest you take a walk over to El San Juan (just down the street from the Ritz Carlton) on Friday or Saturday night. It is much more lively than the Ritz Carlton.

We will definitely be checking out the El San Juan! Sounds like a good time over there. You think the Ritz will have an issue with us bringing an ice chest into our room? Figured we would buy our liquor outside of the hotel so we don't have to drop major coin on drinks inside the Ritz. Thanks again!!!

I don't know the answer to that one. Although I usually bring a couple of bottles of wine for the room, I've never tried to bring in an ice chest. Have fun on your trip!
