Trip Report - Grenada!

Thanks for the report, Nick. I am leaving for Grenada on Saturday (3rd time), with the long layovers in San Juan on both legs of my trip, so your experiences are helpful. Can't wait to get there. Especially dinner at my favorite restaurant in all of the islands -- Coconuts.

Hi Eva. Hope your trip turns out great. It was rainy when we were there, but that should be over with soon. Thanks for the Coconuts tip - it actually was still closed for renovations the first day we were there (we walked past it while strolling the beach, and they were applying the last few coats of varnish to the tables). Make sure you rave about the mango chutney - they'll think it's a conspiracy (we had a spirited conversation with our server about it). <BR> <BR>Have fun (and a few Caribs for me) - I look forward to your report!

Hi Nick-thx for posting your great trip report...sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed your vacation. Your description of potholes could easily pass for some in my hometown - not on a beautiful Caribbean island paradise.

Those potholes were no biggie, after spending my youth learning how to drive on the mean streets of New York City, and now navigating the crater-pocked roads of DC ... ;-)
