travel to Bahamas
Husband and I are leaving for Nassau, Bahamas on 1/2/03, any suggestions/advice good or bad?<BR>Thanks!

Go to Paradise Island and visit the Ocean Club. It's the nicest place in the area.

Cindy; When you land at the airport, go to the brochure rack. There'll be a stack of the newspaper entitled, "Bahamas Tourist News," which will have the best reviews of things to do, dining, tours, shopping, etc. Also is full of coupons and discounts. Anything specific you'd like to do there? Robert

Husband and I have been to Nassau several times and honeymooned there 33 years ago before Paradise Island became what it is today! We always stay at the British Colonial Hilton , but our favorite dining experiences have been at the Ocean Club and at Graycliffs. Try both if you can.

Try to get over to the Compass Point Resort. It is a smaller intimate place with a pricey but terrific restaurant. Get there early for cocktails over the water at sunset - truely beautiful.
