transportation to Hilton
 

Hi - Does anyone have any suggestions on how we should get from the airport to the Hilton? Should we take a taxi or does Hlton provide transfers? We are a family of four.

Also, what can we expect the cost to be?

Regardless of the island, I can't think of a hotel in the Caribbean that offers free transfers except for places like Sandals. No Hilton that I'm aware of offers free transfers. If you buy a package that includes airfare and hotel, then transfers may be included.

On most islands, the choice is between a rental car or a taxi.

But the cost totally depends on the island and the hotel.

The Hilton in Barbados is not terribly far from the airport. It will probably be less than US$25.

Cars are usually fairly expensive, so you probably won't want to rent for your entire stay, but you may want a car for a day or two of exploring, depending on how long you'll be there.
