Aunt Nea's Inn/St George Area

I group of girlfriends are going to Bermuda in October and were looking for a place to stay that is bigger than a traditional room. Has anyone stayed in Aunt Nea's Cottage House? Is there a lot to do in St. George area? Any ideas of where else to stay with a group of 4 that will give us plenty of room to hang out together?

Thank you for any help!

I just booked this place for a night in September for someone. Anyone been? I have read mixed reports but the website looks perfect.

If you are looking for lots to do in the evening, I would suggest you get closer to Hamilton or at least on a short ferry route to Hamilton. Take a look at www.bermudaaccomodations.com or www.bermudarentals.com

St. George is on the far eastern end of Bermuda and is a small lovely historical town. There are a couple of beaches near there and most of the stores have branches in St. George.

I have not stayed at Aunt Nea's, but you might want to take a look at Tripadvisor.com for reviews. Please also check the tripadvisor.com forum on Bermuda, it is very active and there are several posters there who have stayed at Aunt Nea's.

Enjoy Bermuda! It is another world.

I am taking a gamble on this place. Just a one night gamble. They will be staying in Warwick for 4 nights, and then 2 nights at an island retreat, so 1 night in St Georges to explore and be near the airport seemed right.

I am concerned about all the negative response on TA compared to their lovely website.

I think after camping on an island, one night is worth the gamble. I hope they are closer to their portrayal on their website!

for just one night, gyppielou, it will be fine. And you can't beat it for ease of reaching the airport.
Have fun and give Max a hug for me before you go..........
