Transfer to Holiday Inn

We are leaving next week. We had a compensation package to the Trelawny but are being transferred to the Holiday Inn Sunspree. Does anyone know if we are getting chaffed? There was also a possibility at the Breezes Montego Bay or Breezes Runaway Bay. Would it have been a better deal? Thank you for your help.

I have been to both places. Trelawny about 17 yrs ago and I hear it is run down. I just went to Holiday Inn last March/01. Our daughter was 8 last year. The hotel is OK. There is lots of entertainment all day long around the pool for kids and adults. The meals are good. Make sure you try all the resturants. Pool bar and food a pool is good. My daughter loved the grilled cheese at pool snak bar. There is mini golf, ping pong etc to keep kids busy, and watersports. One thing about going to Breezes lots more money plus a very long bus ride for airport.

I think Breezes is a better deal, especially Runaway Bay (the bus ride is only about 1.5 hours). If Breezes MoBay do not accept a cabin room (they are the size of a cruise cabin).

From Trelawny to Holiday Inn is not a step down, at least until they complete all renovations at Trelawny.

I agree that Breezes Runaway Bay is probably the best of the ones mentioned.

Breezes MoBay vs. Holiday Inn is a close call - each has pluses and minuses. I'd probably pick Hol. Inn if I were taking kids, Breezes MoBay if not.

I want to thank everyone for their help. I have just received confirmation by email that we are officially being transferred to the Holiday. I will let you know how it went when I come back.
