I don't think I turned someone off from going to St Croix. If you read the updated posts later on, you'll see.

LaPlaya- Steviegene had the good sense to go ahead with her well planned travel to St. Croix despite old information about crime from you , not because of anything you threw into the good advice she got from others.
People who are reading a Caribbean forum are generally interested in places in the Caribbean. Puerto Vallarta, as I am sure you know, is on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
I guess I will have to find a new forum to read for advice because you have pretty much made this one frustrating to read.
