Tobago in August?

Anybody been to Tobago in August? I know there is a high rainfall then but wondered if it came in short bursts or whether it will rain all day?

Did you ever get an answer to this? We're looking to go to Tobago end of July/August.
From what we can gather it rains 15 days out of 30 which is okay if its a tropical short down pour - but we were wondering about how much sun we'd get to see.

post your question on the forum at www.mytobago.info. It's quite active and you should get a quick response.

We went to Tobago in early Sept. and did not notice excessive rain.

Weather in August is not especially "rainy" you do have showers that move in and move out, you don't have total rain out days...its typical tropical weather. Enjoy.
