Hi, I just read your post about your recent stay at Reef House Resort in Roatan. Would you mind answering some questions.

I have a Delta ticket that I must use sometime in October/November. I see that they fly direct from Newark now. We were in Roatan in the last ten years. I said I would never go back because I must have had 100 bug bites. I can't remember the name of the resort where we stayed.

How did you pick this restort and why? Bugs? I read the reviews on Trip Advisor. Some complained about the rooms and food. Your impression of both? We snorkel and do not dive. Did you talk to anyone that just snorkeled? Would you go back? Thanks, Owa

Curious if you ever went to Reef House. Also curious if you have recommendations about a good house to stay in Culebra in Aug.?

owa, we too want to visit roatan as we found this amazing rental but the bugs really are a concern, esp since my 4 yr old has an allergice reaction to sand flea bites. just how bad is it ?
