Timothy Beach Resort

I have been hearing conflicting comments. Is their beach washed away or what?? Any other comments would be helpful!

A few years ago, all of the beaches on St. Kitts had problems with debris, etc. because of the hurricane. However, I just spent 10 days in St. Kitts at the end of December and I thought the beach on which Timothy sits (Frigate Beach) was in better condition that I remembered it. I had recalled that the beach was bad, and I was surprised that it was so much nicer than I recalled. It seemed in fine shape to me, with plenty of beach and beach chairs. Moreover, it's only a few minute drive to several other very nice beaches. I only spent a couple of hours there, but I thought it was nice.

This past summer, the beach was somewhat damaged by the surf from the hurricanes that went to the north and south of the island. As in all the caribbean islands, mother nature has repaired them. The beach at Timothy Beach Resort is in great shape.

What about diving near TBR? Good/bad?

Sorry... I didn't dive on St. Kitts... I've heard the diving is nothing great -- but I think the snorkeling is very good ... best at South Friars Bay, next best is White House Bay ... and both are 5 minutes by car from TBR
