Time of Sunset in Jamaica?

Hi, can anyone tell me about what time the sun sets in Jamaica in late March? Also, is Jamaica in the same time zone as the east coast and do they follow daylight savings time -- i.e. if it is 1 p.m. in March in NYC is it 1 p.m. in Jamaica? Thanks.

I looked up sunrise and sunset on March 21 to give you an example date.

March 21, 2003, Kingston Jamaica
Sunrise 6:08 a.m.
Sunset 6:13 p.m.

To change dates, just subtract one minute per day earlier for sunrise, and add one minute per day for sunset.
Example, March 22, 2003
Sunrise will be at 6:07 a.m.
Sunset will be at 6:14 p.m.

Jamaica is on Eastern Standard Time, same as NYC.

Steve

Jamaica is on EST but they don't do daylight savings time - no spring forward, fall back.

From October to April they are the same as NYC (EST), from April to October they are the same as Dallas (CST).

The length of their day doesn't change very much from season to season as they are closer to the equator than the US.

Thanks! This is very helpful. Is there a website where you find out this information? Could be useful in the future.
