This time.....Help us select a caribbean destination for winter holiday?

Appreciate previous help so much, we're back at it again! We are a family with two kids in their mid-20s, considering a caribbean holiday during the peak xmas time (one of our kids is a teacher). We have been to St. John twice and Grand Cayman, and a long time ago to St. Croix. We love great beaches and snorkeling, water sports, golf is a nice option to have.
What islands are in fairly good shape now and big enough to still have accommodations available? Resorts or condos are both fine.

Barbados has everything on your wish list. It was spared from last year’s hurricanes.

You might also enjoy St. Kitts and/or Nevis however, those islands have only limited snorkeling but offer plenty of water sports and there’s golf on both islands. Neither suffered any lasting damage from last year’s storms and are as good as before the storms.

You might also be interested in Turks and Caicos. Gorgeous beaches, good to excellent snorkeling and plenty of other water sports. There is a golf course but I've never played. An easy way to check availability is via an on Island agency that I have used in the past. It will save you the time of checking individual resorts. https://turksandcaicosreservations.com/ Val and his team will work with you and your budget - I met him and his wife when we were in the T&Cs. Lovely people. Kind of fun having a friend on the Island. Good luck with your search.

Turks and Caicos would be an excellent choice. also, St. Lucia and Antigua are lovely but a bit spendy. might want to look Roatan Island in Honduras also

Not sure if temps in T&C in winter would be warm enough, I would suggest something further south. If it is too cold for swimming etc, there isn’t a whole lot else to do in T&C (eat & drink?). There can be a lot of wind too. Personally I would not risk it.
Barbados is a great island, beaches are just as beautiful as T&C but snorkelling is not as great. There are 100s of islands that could fit the bill.

Look into Belize. Great diving and snorkeling there.

The Buccaneer on St Croix has its own golf course. There are snorkel trips to Buck Island, which pick you up at the resort's dock. Also they have quiet beaches, with waterside cafes.
We loved our visit there in June, with our family of 5.
Service there is excellent. A full, hot breakfast is included, served in their beautiful open-air dining room with views.
We rented a car for one day, to tour the island. We picked it up and dropped it off right at the Buccaneer.
We also took a cab into Frederiksted for dinner one night. Found a great dinner there, but were really not impressed with the town itself. Which is fine, because we only wanted to relax at the resort.
Some of our family took scuba lessons in the Buccaneer pool, then took dives from Frederiksted one day.
The Buccaneer property itself is beautiful, and the owner provides a complimentary cocktail hour one evening, with a walking tour of the property.
Contact the Buccaneer directly for the best response.
Highly recommend!
