It seems odd that people would cancel over this. If people are afraid to go to Aruba because one girl got mixed up with too much drinking and the wrong person(s) and went missing, they better just lock themselves in their bedrooms because it happens each and every day in the USA and seldom gets the coverage this case has. While I feel sorry for the families involved, I think this has been blown WAY out of proportion by the TV news here.

I agree that this horrible incident can and does happen everywhere. I also think there have knee jerk like reactions to Arubas so called lack of safety. However my impression of the medias coverage differs. From what I have seen and I have been following this as much as most the coverage has been in keeping with normal interest of such a story. The bottom line is to find out just what happened and to do justice to whatever this truth is. I hope this happens soon. Seems overdue to me. JM2C. Larry

I don't know what's happening down there. I'm biased, since usually the NYPD break this guy down in hours. But it looks like the evidence is skimp and the guy isn't talking, even though everyone knows he did it.
