Things to do in Bahamas'Sandals

Now, my fiancee and I are going to Sandals Royal Bahamian. We love to sit by the pool and on the beach but would also like to go sight see. What is available and how atttentive is the Sandals staff in helping plan excursions and advice for trips around the island?

Email me direct and I can tell you . We were there in Feb 2000.

The staff is very helpful and has all kinds of information on excursions outside of the resort. We went last July and swam with the dolphins in a cove not far from paradise island. I HIGHLY recommend it, but you'll need to book the dolphin swim ASAP if you want to do it. They fill up weeks in advance.

Yes , there are alot of excursions to do outside the resort. We also swam with the dolphins, we did a dinner cruise, we took the tour of Atlantis (A MUST). gambled at Atlantis. Shopped in Nassau, took a tour through town in horse a buggy. Wanted to take the Helecopter tour of the Islands but it was to windy the week we were there. The private Island is great.

an absolute must is to dine at GreyCliff in the center of town-it is an historic mansion with it's own wine cellar (with vintages dating back to the civil war era) as well as they roll their own cigars in house-the chocolate souffle is not to be missed...the most romantic evening of my life...quite expensive but worth every penny-an entire night out experience, from cocktails in the drawing room, where you order and are then directed to your table within the hour-as if you are the guests at a plantation...

what or where is the best way to book a trip at Sandals ? It seems very expensive but I keep hearing you can find great deals there if you're looking in the right places ?
