The Sands at Grace Bay

My boyfriend and I just booked and Ocean Front Studio at the Sands for early December for 6 nights. Is this truly Ocean Front. I have read that its not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything we should request at check in? Any pointers for our stay in general?<BR>Thank you!!

hey belle, i've been to provo recently and had a swell time. do not recall &quot;the sands&quot; but wonder if you are aware of ocean vs. beach front? this may be what you're reading about.ocean front could be 10 miles from a beach. call them. you are in plenty of time to change your reservation if needed. i suggest you rent a jeep. scooter bob's worked for us. take your cell phone if you break down somewhere they'll come get you(short island they're fast) as will all the renters. go to Bugaboo&quot;s for lunch.BYOwhatever. share. plan to be there awhile. he may be one of the true &quot;characters&quot; you'll ever meet. snorkel and scuba are outstanding we dove out of Allegro. do not plan much time for shopping.

Belle1031, My husband and I stayed at The Sands for our honeymoon June 2002. We stayed in an Ocean Front Studio. It is truly Ocean Front. I would suggest the 2nd or 3rd floor. Better views.

We returned from TCI last night and stayed in an ocean front suite at the Sands..third floor. It was pure heaven and the Sands has to be the friendliest place we've ever stayed. The view was magnificent,Hemingways restaurant had great food and we would go back in a mini second. I agree, since you have made reservations so far in advance, request a 3rd or 2nd floor. You will love it there.
