THE HOUSE OR COBBLERS- BARBADOS

Does anyone know about THE HOUSE in Barbados - part of the elegant hotel chain sounds awesome. We were planning on Cobblers Cove but we like some nightlife and don't want to be to far away THOUGHTS PLEASE Thanks

The House is excellent. It's also located in a great location where you can easily get to some fabulous restaurants (like Daphne's next door, The Cliff and Carambola just down the road). Also closer to various night spots. Cobblers Cove, while excellent (it's a Relais and Chateaux -- some of the best properties worldwide), is located very far North on the West Coast (almost to Speightstown) and it is far from most happening things.

Lois

Hi Lois, I have not been to Barbados for many years. Just wondering which spot has a better beach. Also which beach is more relaxing, vendors, walkers etc. Is The House on Paynes Bay?
I stayed at Treasure Beach years ago, did not like all the beach vendors.

Yes - The House is in Paynes Bay area. To have a quiet beach you really need to go up to Cobblers Cove which is near Kings Beach. That's very picturesque also.
