I can only speak for Pineapple Beach. My husband and I honeymooned there and loved it. Our room was garden view, which was simply lovely. If I stepped outside and turned my head there was the ocean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We found the beach to be beautiful and delightful. The food was fabulous as was the service. The people we met, both guests and workers, were the friendliest we have ever met. We have since recommended the resort to several friends who have also had equally wonderful experiences.

Not Curtain Bluff? Have had little info on reopening of Jumby ... new mgt. team and rumor of reopening Nov 15 ... original plans were to return to all-inclusive as of December. Property was delightful but service and food feel way short for those prices last year! If you have current news of Jumby, please let me know! Otherwise, I vote for Curtain Bluff!!!!!

We stayed at PBC last January and had a
fantastice time. Everything was top notch food, rooms, beach and staff service. I think you would be happy
with the resort. If you want some more information E mail me. To see some pictures visit Carribean chat at msn.com

I can only speak about Galley Bay as I have'nt stayed at the others. My husband and I were there in Feb 98 and it was wonderful. We stayed in the deluxe beachfront rooms and they were lovely. You just walked right out on the beautiful beach. We also had a side deck with a rope hammock-Heaven! The food was very good, more than you could eat. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff friendly. I hear they have added a second restaurant and they are both right on the water, open to the breezes. I would definitely return there anytime. Have a great trip!

I went to Galley Bay 10 years ago. We wanted to go back last year, but at the last minute they were overbooked and we got bumped to the St James. St James was nice, but not nearly as nice as Galley Bay. Galley Bay is quiet (no kids allowed), small has a great beach and excellent food. We stayed in those Gaugin Huts which are a few steps away from the beach, but they have a gorgeous view of the pond and the birds. Haven't been to the others, although Curtain Bluff certainly looks spectacular, and I've heard uniformly good things about Pineapple Beach.

Galley Bay! Without a doubt! If you can afford Jumby Bay then go for it, but Galley Bay was first class paradise. The service was excellent, it was romantic, exclusive, had great food. Our room (#16) was the biggest in the resort and right on the beach. I can't wait to return!

Owners of Half Moon resort in Jamaica recently purchased Jumby Bay. Think there is new management now.
