I haven't been there myself, but I do recall seeing a thread on this hotel on the message board at www.negril.com.
We stayed there in 1998-- it was ok.
At the time, the room was a bit on the
shabby side, especially the bathroom--
missing bathtub plug, some rust. Water
leaks from the ceiling, etc. The food
was pretty good--just little in the
way of variety. BUT-- this was a few
years ago. At the time we were there,
they had finished remodeling the ground
floor beachfront rooms and they looked
really nice! I'm sure by now the
remodeling is done. I suggest you
keep looking-- I think you can do
better. Charela Inn is a wonderful
place to stay and has a great restaurant. All of the hotels on the
beach are within walking distance so
it is a lot of fun checking out the
restaurants and reggae shows. Like
someone previously stated, check out
www.negril.com for more information.
You do get breakfast and lunch as part
of the package at T-Water, but again,
I think you can do better for the
money.
As far as weather goes, it should be
fine. Hurricane season begins in June.
JanGail

Stayed there a few years ago. Nice, small resort, nothing fancy but clean and comforatble. It has since been sold and is now called Merrils and has an all-inclusive package. Don't know if it's optional or strictly AI.

There were a couple of brief showers when we were there last May. Actually they were nice. T-Water is OK, but there are much nicer places to stay within the same price range. check out www.negril.com for some ideas. I personally recommend Charela Inn as my A #1 most perfect vacation experience. Other places we've stayed and ENJOYED were Whistling Bird (on the beach near Charela -- very small and very personal sevice)and Rockhouse on the cliffs. Negril is marvelous, especially if you need somewhere to totally rejuvenate and revitalize your soul.
