T & C hotels

Ok I've read the posts and have found some reviews helpful. I've been looking into some hotels. Now, I have a question about The Sands I know that it was rated as on of the top hotels in T & C by Conde Nast. But the rooms look a bit outdated. Is Grace Bay really worth the splurge I have heard such mixed reviews. Then there'e Le Vele. I don't think it even has a restaurant on property. But the rooms look better than the Sands. Here's my question My husband and I usually stay in 4 Star properties ranging from nice Marriotts to Ritz Catlton and Luxury Collection by Starwood. We love plush boutique hotels as well. Are there any great boutique hotels in T & C? or any island for that matter that won't blow our budget of 2000 for 5 nights hotel including all taxes and surcharges? We want great beaches and a relaxing time with good food. Please help! Thank you so much!

Don't know if this will help you, but you may want to check out Grace Bay Club. We are booked to go for 8 nights in 7 weeks and I am excited! Depending on when you are thinking of going it may suit your budget also. Website is very easy to find if you would like to check it out. Hope this may help you, Carol

If you love boutique hotels, look at Sibonne. Their website is www.sibonne.com.

Have not heard or seen one bad report on Grace Bay. IMHO it is the best beach I have ever been to.
Have stayed in many Marriott's and would take The Sands over ANY Marriott. For example, the Marriott on Cable Beach in Nassau is in no way comparable to the quality and atmosphere of The Sands.
The Sands is cleaner, not mobbed with people scurrying for beach/pool lounges, and absolutely NO comparison on beach location!
There are more exclusive properties on Provo, Grace Bay is one of them. I would not call the Sibonne a "boutique" hotel as it is more of a beach front "motel."

Keli22o: I love the Sibonne but I don't think it would be suitable for you.
