Surfing Puerto Rico in the summer?

Me and my buddies are going to Puerto Rico this summer to try to find some warm weather and fun surf. I was just wondering if there are any waves to surf there in the summer. We aren't looking for huge surf, just some fun waves anywhere from 3-6 feet. If there are any spots that have good waves in the summer let me know! Thanks!

Rincon good for me in the past I am no pro dive better
than I surf. A good way I have done it is carrentals.com out
of San Juan then hop around to a bunch of places.

Happy Trails!

Really? Did Rincon have any solid swell during summer? I heard it was pretty flat all season.

Not very many surfers frequent these boards. I'd look specifically at Lonely Planet's boards, which may help you more. There are also some surf shops around San Juan, but I don't know enough about surfing to really help. But Rincon is known as the island's surf spot ... though whether or not the surf is seasonal is a good question.
