ADULT FAMILY ALL-INCLUSIVE

Traveling in June with 6 adults ages 19 to 56. Would like waterskiing, snorkeling, beautiful beach and upscale accomodations. Suggestions?

I'm asking for suggestions as to destination, and specific resort as well. Caribbean or Mexico, Costa Rico, Puerto Rico. Since only planning for five to six nights, would prefer not to travel too far (more than an hour?) from the airport, or travel from NY to a place that requires more than one plane change.

Try the Royal Playa del Carmen in Mexico. On the beach, walking distance from town, upscale, adults only.

This link contains a pretty comprehensive list of "adult" only AIs but make sure to look at each property as some define adult in a manner that allows younger teenagers, and others are only for couples.

I've been to the Body Holiday at LeSport in St. Lucia and would recommend it. Besides being beachfront with waterskiing and snorkeling, it includes daily spa treatments, green fees for golf, and lots more avtivities than a typical AI. It also is much smaller than a lot of AIs (about 150 rooms)which I liked.

Try Almond Beach in Barbados. It has something for everyone. Well located up the coast. Good size beach. Several pools, some for adults only and some for familys. Several good restruants.

Try Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. American Airline to San Juan with change of plane to Tortola and easy, short ferry from airport to Little Dix (they have their own boat).

from ny you should find good flights to cancun. the entire maya riviera coast if filled with ai's offering what you are looking for plus eco-marine parks (x-caret & xel-ha) and ruins and shoppping. and within an hour of the airport.
st. lucia and barbados are great but a long way to travel for 5-6 days.
usvi or bvi are pretty easy to get to as well as puerto rico, the caymans and jamaica.
on st. john caneel bay would be good. on st.thomas the ritz is beautiful (but not ai) or maybe wyhdham sugar bay which is quite active. on st.croix the buccaneer gets good reviews. (ai? i'm not sure) none of these exclude children, but they are not kid oriented resorts.
