sunset time in caribbean
 
if you're in the islands now - what time is it getting dark? i'm in maine and lights need to go on about 4:45. yeesh!

Sunset time varies slightly from island to island but this time of year it's around 5:30PM give or take 5 or 10 minutes. In summer the sun sets between 6:30PM and 6:45PM.

Depends on the timezone and latitude too.

Cayman is on EST, not AST, so sunset right now around 6:05pm, can be as late as 7:30pm in midsummer (nowhere near as much variation as northern climes).

Oh, my family is from Lewis in the Western Isles of Scotland... mid summer the golf club has a special match that tees off... at midnight !
