Sunset on San Juan

We will be in San Juan for one evening (after 4:30) while on our cruise. We might shop but I was wondering where the best place to watch the sunset would be. Thanks for any info.

We watched a beautiful sunset in Old San Juan tonight on the Paseo La Princesa (Princess Promenade). When you get off the boat (assuming it is docked at pier 1 through 6 in Old San Juan--some dock about a mile east) turn left(west) and walk along the harbor sidewalk past the tourist info building onto the Paseo La Princesa. From there it is a short walk to a small park facing west over the harbor. It is only about 1/4 from the cruise ship docks. You can continue walking past the park to the right and find benches facing the harbor. The old city wall is on the right all along the Paseo. Have fun

Anything else to do on San Juan in the evening?

For nightlife, go up to San Sebastian street in Old San Juan. Tons of small bars and clubs. Really neat environment.
