Suggestions? Toddler and Pregnant Wife - Where to go in Caribbean Islands

Jump to last reply

If anyone has some ideas I would appreciate it.

Departing from NYC.

Twenty-three month old active boy and 15 week pregnant wife. Looking for a place that doesn't require us to leave the premise for food or activities. We can all just hang out and enjoy, where the child can have some fun with daddy and mommy can relax or join in.

Approximate budget. $2500 to 3500 for 5 or 6 days, not including airfare.

So far Turks and Caicos seems best. Perhaps at the Beaches Resort. I'm a bit concerned about inclusive food resorts. We don't eat fast food, preferring simple but healthy cooking. The problem is inclusive resorts may not offer decent food yet they seem to have the best setups for toddlers. Water slides, play gyms, etc...

Less buggier the better but that may be unavoidable.

Travel time: End of January, first week in February but we could go another winter time if it's less expensive.

Thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Todd
