Is anyone on Island now that can give a storm update?

Reports I've read on other forums as of 4:30PM today say it is still raining, lots of flooding, airport closed (no flights in or out). National Weather Service (www.nhc.noaa.gov) will be issuing an update on conditions and forecast at 5PM today. Go to their website for more details.

Someone on Facebook posted a video this morning of skiing down Grace Bay Road.

I spoke with friends, said flooding 2nd worse they've ever seen (worse being Hannah)

Airport closed

Banks and businesses closed today too

Thank you...we are thinking of taking a last minute trip this weekend.

Airport running late, some persons were told yesterday can't fly out until at least Friday. Power was out last night, don't know for how long

I think they'll be some clean up, but should happen quickly.

Amazing that something that wasn't named going over caused this much yuck. I'm sure though wherever your staying will be fine
