Staying in Anguilla

Can anyone recommend a good rental agency for renting vacation homes or condos in Anguilla. I've checked all the usuals (VRBO, etc) but i'm not finding many 2 bedroom options, especially the near the beach.

IF a house doesn't work out, I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite small hotels are? I stayed at Cuisinart in 2005, and it is now far outside our price range. We're traveling with another couple and would love to share a suite or condo setting. We don't really want all the noise of a resort. A restaurant or beach bar wouldn't be bad, though. We are looking at Frangipani on Meads Bay as an option. Almost stayed there in 2005, but at the time Cuisinart had an unbelievable special ($210/night for a junior suite - off season in early december. I still can't believe that deal!)

I'm rambling now, sorry... Just trying to find the best place to stay. We've found an awesome beach front house on St Barts (2 bed, Flamands Beach) for only $500/night in May. That is what we're aiming for, but I'm not finding it on Anguilla. Trying to persuade the other couple to go to Anguilla. :)

Thanks for any help you can give!

Maybe try Turtles Nest?

Frangiapani is a great place to stay, and right next door to the best restaurant in Anguilla - Straw Hat. Meads Bay is a beautiful beach, I got married on that beach.

Your budget is more generous than mine, so perhaps the following might be too low-end for your tastes, but we just booked two weeks for a return visit at Caribella, which is beach front on Barnes Bay. Each unit is two bedrooms, though the second bedroom doesn't have a walkout balcony like the master bedroom does.

There's also a rather quaint and charming villa on Barnes Bay (again, beachfront) called Villa Ella, which offers 3 bedrooms for $350/night in the low season. Not fancy, but it looks comfortable and I love the location.

You might also want to check out the two bedroom villas at Indigo Reef on the west end, which are relatively new. There's a beach right there, but it's not particularly nice, but the units are fresh and stylish and there's a pool at the complex. Most units also have rooftop lounges that are great for sunset views.
