We are planning a trip with our 4 kids ages 9-17 to the Carribean later this year, Novemer or December. The Starfish by Superclubs in Jamaica looks really fun but we are wondering first hand if anyone has been there and what they thought. Is the beach usable? Should we consider another resort, even on another island? We are open but wanting to book soon, so whatever you ca tell us would be great.

Hi: Just came back from Jamaica and went over to Starfish for the day. We have stayed at Trelawny previously and they did a great job in the renovations. They had tons of stuff for the kids to do and they built a great kids area, complete with a waterfall. The beach at Trelawny is really nice and you can walk for a long way if you like. I think that for the price this is a great resort. There is a surcharge for the rock climbing wall and the ice skating, as well as some of the restaurants.
