St. Thomas suggestions
We have our tickets booked to St Thomas in the last week of Jan. We'll be traveling with a 15 month old, so I was looking for suggestions on resort that will possibly have a kitchenet.
Also, this will be our first time to St Thomas, so I am looking for suggestions on what are things that I can possibly do with a 15 month old. Is St John doable as a day trip?? Or should we plan to stay there for a day? Thanks. |
I am on STT now. Check out Secret Harbour on the east end. Please keep an eye out for sunburn with your little one. Scout out shade on the beach and bring lots of sunscreen, swim shirts, etc.
Magen's Bay is nice for kids. Crowded, so walk down to the left when cruise ships are in town. Lindquist beach is my favorite, but it has little amenities and is seaweedy this year. St. john is an easy ferry ride from Red Hook on the east end. Take a safari bus to your favorite north shore beach. Have fun! |
Here are some condo/hotels to check out: Sapphire Beach, Sapphire Village, Crystal Cove, Elysian, Anchorage, Cowpet West and East, Secret Harbour Beach and Secret Harbour Villas. These will all have kitchens.
Coral World is fun for children. |
Thanks. I'll check those out. How is bolongo bay. We are getting some reasonably priced 2 bed condo at bolongo bay.

There are some condos next door to Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. They are very close to Mim's, a great restaurant. Bolongo has lots of water activities, from an on site dive shop to sunset sails to jet ski rentals. They also have a fun beach bar, Iggie's. It is on the south side of the island, between town and Red Hook.

Thanks eastenderusvi. Yea, we liked a property in watergate condo community and might land up renting it. Thanks for your inputs.
