There are well over 200 restaurants on St. Thomas many of which people will describe as "good". What type of cuisine are you interested in? Do you want upscale, mid-range, casual, beach bar,???? What budget range?

Try going to the USVI forum on TripAdvisor, in the "Jump to more specific Forum" link click on St. Thomas then on the new page click on "Restaurants". You'll find a list of almost all the restaurants rated from #1 to #200 plus hundreds of reviews. Everything that can possibly be said about restaurants on St. Thomas has been written there.

Good seafood: Mim's (on the water at Bolongo), Hook, Line, and Sinker (on the marina in Frenchtown). I can't help you with steak, I'm not a big steak eater.

Havana Blue, located on the second level of the Morningstar section of the Marriott, but not run by Marriott, is quite good for a more flashy dinner.
