ST.Thomas Emerald Beach
 

We are planning to have a wedding June 19 at Emerald Beach Resort. Any comments on the place or recomendations... We are traveling from WI with a big group including 5 kids.

I'm not sure, but isn't this the one that is located right next to the airport? I don't necessarily think that's a big problem, mind you, since it's not exactly JFK, but you may want to investigate to see if that impacts your decisions.

It is (one of) the ones right next to the airport. I haven't stayed there, but only because my schedule hasn't permitted it..but have heard nice things about it from many folks.

Thank you very much for the update. I ended up talking with a person that just got married over there. They really love it. Yes, the location is very close to the airport, but there is not that much air trafic over there.

We booked the date & we are planning to have an all day event over there.

We just got back from our wedding. Emerald Beach (St. Thomas)The place is really nice for the wedding, but don't stay there. The rooms need remodeling. The walls had mold, the bathroom cealing was falling down the shower and the toilet were not working correctly. If you are staying is St. Thomas for a week or so, rent the Siren's Song home. This is located at the west end of the Island. This plase is out of this world.
