St Thomas beach entry fees
 

I'm a little confused on beach entry fees to places like Magens Bay beach on St Thomas. Is the beach fenced off and you have to go through a gate? How does this work? I read somewhere that if you take a taxi you pay the fee to the driver. If true then if I have my own car do I pay the per person fee? I'm assuming if I have a car I'll pay parking. If I drive myself would I still pay the per person fee?

$5 per person 12 and older
$2 per vehicle parking fee
