I think that - particularly bearing in mind the location of the Radisson - you will DEFINITELY regret not renting a car. Taxis will cost you more than the car rental, and are by no means as convenient.
The Radisson is in one of THE least accessable locations on the island and, once there, there is not much in the way of decent places to eat or shop so, to go anywhere else, you will have to rely on the immediate availability of taxis, which is not usually the case.
Personally my favorite restaurants in Grand Case are Bistrot Caraibes, L'Auberge Gourmande (neither on the water side) and Le Tastevin which is.
Enjoy !!

B_and_B I would be MOST interested to have your comment on the Windspirit cruise, as we are considering bookin the same cruise shortly.
By the way, in a previous post I mentioned the Fish Pot in Grand Case as being a good bet, but since then, I have had poor comments from two independent sources who have eaten there receintly. I have not done so myself, but I thought I should mention this fact, as I 'recommended' the restaurant before. Perhaps there is a new chef, but I really don't know.

No car? you will pay more for taxis and lose the convenience. We stayed here for just one night and missed having a car.
Consider a daytrip by ferry or snorkel trip to Anguilla too.. fabulous beaches!

Hi Barbara.
That's good to know - I will give the Fish Pot another try.
Normally I would not take too much notice of one set of bad comments, however two independent reports did make me somewhat wary - particularly as I had recommended the restaurant in a previous post.
I fully agree with fossbomb, Sol e Luna is excellent.
