St. Maarten 20+ anniversary

My husband and I are traveling to St. Maarten for the first time. Please provide places to see and restaurants to not pass up.

Start your research here: www.stmartinisland.org

Also, for hundreds of reviews on St. Martin's hotels and activities go to the St. Martim forum on TripAdvisor - use the "Hotels", "Restaurants" and "Things to Do" dropdown menus for tons of information.

once you do your basic homework come back here and ask specific questions.

We were there in July for a one week. We stayed at Divi resorts on the Dutch side close to Phillipsburg. Where to eat and recommendations would depend on where you were staying. It might be a small island but getting around is timely so I thought even in off season. We had a car--but still where you are staying will depend on where to eat. There are many fine restaurants on St.Martin. I would highly suggest Simpson Bay place called Fushion. it was wonderful and the best meal I had all week. A perfect ambiance, food, and service top notch all the way.
