St, Lucia without a car?
Can anyone recommend a mid-level resort on St. Lucia to meet our needs? Nothing too big. Preferably no kids. We are two older adults, 50s. Our primary goal is to swim, read & relax. Interested in a nice beach, see some of the island & do a little hiking. Maybe take an organized tour. No interest in nightlight. We've never stayed in an all-inclusive but would consider one if the food were decent and it meant no need to drive. Thanks for any ideas!

consider the sandals resorts. there are 3 on st. lucia, all aduts only - http://www.sandals.com/destinations/stlucia.cfm

The Sandals La Toc is absolutely amazing. Pricey but worth every penny

The Sandals La Toc looks beautiful, although pretty big. Is no car needed because one tends to stick around at the resort?

Look at East Winds Inn for a lower key resort - they have a ton of returning guests so must be doing something right! It's more traditional Caribbean in architecture etc than the Sandals resorts.
If you do want to go with Sandals the Halcyon Sandals is the smallest one & located near public transportation and a small mall. |
Why don't you try Bay Gardens Beach Resort in Rodney Bay, or Royal St. Lucian (both on Reduit Beach)
